Here is the list of students we are sponsoring in various regions of Vietnam: Hue, Quang Tri, Cam Ranh, Kien Giang - Tra Vinh - Vinh Binh, Cuu Long, Proh.
There are many other students waiting for sponsorship. Here is an example of a classroom of students needing help. It costs only $50 a year to sponsor a student from K through high school which covers tuition and books. It's $100 per year for college students. SBVCC organized Tet Trung Thu 2004 for over 200 children in the South Bay area. Please see pictures from Tet Trung Thu activities.
This is the first year SBVCC participated in the Hoi Cho Tet 2004 in Garden Grove, California to raise fund for poor children in Vietnam. There are over 30 volunteers putting in so many hours to make it a success. It was hard work, but everyone felt good about the team spirit and the work they have done. You can help us without taking money from your pocket if you shop at these Vietnamese Super Markets in Orange County, California: A Dong, Saigon, Dalat and Green Farm Supermarkets. Please email us at info@sbvcc.org for more information. These supermarkets donate 7% of all your purchases at their stores to SBVCC.
