South Bay Vietnamese Cultural Center
A Non-Profit Organization

About Us

The South Bay Vietnamese Cultural Center (SBVCC) is a non-profit organization operating in Torrance, California. The purposes of the organization are:

1. Preserve and promote the Vietnamese culture in the South Bay area.

2. Provide humanitarian aid to people in various regions of Vietnam.

To preserve the Vietnamese culture, SBVCC has been supporting programs to teach Vietnamese language to all children in the South Bay.

In addition, SBVCC also organizes festivals and activities for the children every year such as the Moon Festival (Tet Trung Thu), summer camp. SBVCC also works with the Vietnamese language centers in the South Bay to help Vietnamese children learning the Vietnamese language and culture.

SBVCC is also involved in many projects to aid the less fortunate people in Vietnam. We provide basic medical needs for the minority people, train nurses, help the orphans, and provide scholarship to poor children.

All SBVCC officers are voluntary workers and do not receive any financial compensation for their work.  They also pay for all their expenses during their trips to Vietnam.
